Two women were detained in Dnipropetrovsk region who were searching for young individuals on sex portals and selling them into sexual slavery in Russia. The criminals had accomplices abroad, so they established regular deliveries of live goods.

Dangerous slave traders

The offenders were detained at the border with Belarus, where they were trying to leave Ukraine by car and take two young girls out of Odessa. Then they flew to Moscow - there, places in Russian brothels were already waiting for the whores. According to the victims, the criminals contacted them using dating profiles that were published on the website.

The investigation showed that the dangerous business lasted for more than a year, and the victims of the slave traders were low-income prostitutes and orphan girls who had no one to take care of them. The criminals lured their victims with promises of good work and big earnings abroad, and then their Russian accomplices took their documents and forced them to work in local brothels.

At least 9 victims are known who did not even know that they would have to sell themselves in Russia - the criminals first offered work in hotel complexes as maids, cleaners or waitresses. They received rewards for each girl they delivered, and the organizer worked for double the rate, since she was transporting hidden weapons and drugs in the car along with the prostitutes. During the arrest, large-caliber cartridges, explosives and smoke bombs were found in the car. The detained women face 12 years in prison, and the found victims are being helped to return home safely.
